AC Wellness is a medical check app for Apple corporate employees to maintain their overall health during their work hours. It is basically a messaging app, which allows employees to chat with doctors and pinpoint details about Apple Wellness Center services and their locations. Setting up an account in AC Wellness is not that easy since it requires work email address from Apple, meaning it requires AppleConnect credentials with high permissions which is only given to corporate employees and not to mention that even Apple retail employees doesn’t have access to setup an account with their AppleConnect credentials. The app has a facial recognition feature for logging in and inside the app provides three tabs, which are Your care, inbox and Records.
- Your care - It is part of the app where employees can see their upcoming medical visits and it is also the section where employees can schedule a visit to a doctor or they can chat for assistance with some other general concerns.
- Inbox - It is the section where employees receive messages and other alerts from medical care.
- Records - Records is the section where employees can see their overall health data. It basically gives a summary on an employee’s lab results and also some results from medical visits. It is also the part where chat history is shown.
AC Wellness has some similar features with Fitness app, like the app allow users to connect with other third party health apps to improve an employee’s health data to achieve their goal. The app was introduced along side with the HealthHabit and over the course of improving employee’s health data, Apple failed to track employees HealthHabit data but eventually Apple managed to improve AC Wellness with HealthKit integration. The app is part of the Apple Wellness internal program which is only accessible to corporate employees but external customers can browse through their developer website.
