CooLtool is an AppleInternal tool to check if GPS, GLONASS, cellular and other location systems are operational. Compatibility for a GPS unit must be added in CooLtool before use. It is optimized for use on iPhone and iPad. CooLtool is not functional on iOS 8 and above.
