For All Mankind: Time Capsule is an augmented reality app developed by Apple to promote the second season of Apple TV+ series For All Mankind. The app allows users to experience props from the series in AR. The app canonically occurs between seasons 1 and 2.

The app features props of an Apple II and original Macintosh, with matching floppy disks.

In September 2021 (2021-09), the app won a Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Award for Outstanding Innovation in Interactive Programming.

Adds subtitles and text localization for 9 new languages (Deutsch, Español, Español (Latinoamérica), Français, Italiano, 日本語, Nederlands, Português (Brasil), Pyсский). Adds new hotspot to clearly guide users on key object interaction if they do not follow the ideal flow on chapter start. Adds new functionality that removes the requirement to insert key objects in order to progress when re-experiencing content. Adds new functionality that allows the user to advance through all content on the mixtape and VHS tape on first play-through. Adds new functionality to the text reader that allows the user to progress through all of Crater Quest on the Apple II without having to re-open it after each player death. Fixes an issue where it was possible to accidentally skip through sections of Crater Quest on the Apple II. Includes corrections to newspaper and magazine copy. Adds new ‘Drive the Lunar Rover' experience that allows the user to drive a remote control Lunar Rover around the real world (devices with LiDAR Scanner only). Updates the interaction when inserting the mixtape in the Heart Beats chapter for improved experience flow and consistency with other scenes. Fixes an issue with repeated text and screen flow in later sections of Crater Quest on the Apple II. Includes correction to newspaper advertisement. Fixes various localization issues in non-English language subtitles and text reader entries.
