The iPhone 4 Case Program app was released by Apple on 23 July 2010iPhone 4 "antennagate" controversy. It allowed owners of an iPhone 4 to order the official iPhone 4 Bumper, or one of a select number of third-party cases, at no cost.

. Owners of devices purchased prior to 23 July 2010 were required to apply no later than 22 August 2010 ; otherwise, they were given a 30 day window following the device purchase. There is only one known version of the app, version 072210.5 (build 1.0). The app has a bundle identifier of com.apple.store.caseprogram

is indicated in version.plist. The app filtered to only install on iPhone 4 by requiring the following device capabilities, all of which were new to the iPhone 4: front-facing-camera
