Macworld Expo

From The Apple Wiki

Macworld Expo (later renamed Macworld/iWorld) was a trade show conference held by media company IDG, publishers of Macworld magazine. With some exceptions, the conferences were headlined by an Apple keynote, typically performed by Steve Jobs. The keynotes were focused towards consumer marketing, featuring announcements of new consumer hardware and software.

On 16 December 2008 (2008-12-16), Apple announced that it would cease participation in Macworld Expo after 2009, citing the success of other marketing channels such as Apple Stores.[1]

On 14 October 2014 (2014-10-14), shortly after announcing the end of the Macworld print magazine, IDG announced the indefinite suspension of Macworld/iWorld. The final Macworld/iWorld was held between 12 March 2015 (2015-03-12) and 14 March 2015 (2015-03-14).
