MobileMe was a collection of subscription services provided by Apple for iOS and Mac users to keep their data in sync. It was the replacement for .mac and introduced additional features for iOS devices. MobileMe was launched at WWDC 2008 together with the iPhone 3G and iPhone OS 2.0. It was succeeded by iCloud when iOS 5 launched in September 2011.
