Northstar 7D11 is an internal build of iPhoneOS 3.1.2 which originated as an internal restore bundle from a Pegatron Mac Mini. The entire restore bundle weighs about 3GB total. This is due to the bundle containing many system image targets, all for various testing purposes. Aside from its inclusion of numerous system images, this build also contains RELEASE, DEVELOPMENT, and DEBUG bootchains for nearly all devices that 3.1.2 supports.

This build has a kernel version of Darwin Kernel Version 10.0.0d3: Fri Sep 25 23:29:06 PDT 2009; root:xnu-1357.5.30~3/DEVELOPMENT_ARM_S5L8900X for S5L8900.

This build also contains references to several unreleased devices, most notably of which are the N90H2P and K48H2P. These have been confirmed to be extremely early variants of the N90AP and K48AP, which use the S5L8920 processor rather than the S5L8930. The reason as of to why this was done is unclear, but it is likely the S5L8930 was not ready in time for early testing of these models.
