This is the Internet Archive Bot. It scans all links on the wiki on a regular basis, to ensure valuable information doesn't get permanently lost.
The bot itself runs from the InternetArchiveBot (IABot) source, developed by the Internet Archive for Wikimedia wikis. The instance run by The Apple Wiki isn't currently publicly accessible, however, you can request an admin to submit rescan jobs to the bot on Discord.
Currently, the bot will scan links across the entire wiki to ensure they still exist, adding {{webarchive}} to ones that have disappeared but do have a working archive on the Wayback Machine, or {{dead link}} to ones that have no useful backup available. It additionally submits live links to the Wayback Machine for permanent archival, should they be found to not yet have any archive saved.
