AirPort 802.11b Card:

- Data Throughput: Up to 11 megabits per second (Mbps) in perfect conditions
- Range: Up to 150ft, 50m indoors
- Frequency: 2.4GHz
- Connector: PCMCIA (PC Card)
AirPort Extreme 802.11g Card:
- Wi-Fi Version: 802.11g (Unofficially named Wi-Fi 3 & backwards compatible to 802.11b)
- Bluetooth Version: Bluetooth 2.0+EDR (Enhanced Data Rate)
- Data Throughput: Up to 54 megabits per second (Mbps) in perfect conditions
- Range: Up to 150ft, 50m indoors
- Frequency: 2.4GHz
- Connector: Mini PCi for Wi-Fi and USB for Bluetooth. Not user-replaceable.
Integrated AirPort Extreme 802.11a/b/g/n:
- Wi-Fi Version: 802.11n Wi-Fi 4 (backwards compatible with 802.11a/b/g)
- Bluetooth Version: Bluetooth 2.0+EDR or Bluetooth 4.0
- Data Throughput: Up to 600 megabits per second (Mbps)
- Range: Up to 230ft, 70m indoors
- Frequency 2.4GHz or 5Ghz
- MIMO: Up to 2x3
- Connector: PCIe Mini
Integrated AirPort Extreme 802.11ac:
- Wi-Fi Version: 802.11ac Wi-Fi 5 (backwards compatible with 802.11a/b/g/n)

- Data Throughput: 3.5 gigabits per second (Gbps) in perfect conditions
- Range: Up to 230ft, 70m indoors
