If it's due to security concerns, The Legacy Archives is maintained by the moderators of r/LegacyJailbreak, so I'm pretty sure it's legit Gamer191 (talk) 04:53, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
- I was meaning to add a comment on the revert but clicked the wrong button for that. It'd be a breach of copyright so we can't allow that. I'm aware of that archive and it's fine in terms of being an archive but due to copyright breach we can't allow that to be listed on the wiki. --IAdam1n (talk) 04:55, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
- Just chiming in here since I caught this conversation going on, I did think that it was against our rules to post rehosted links to software, but turns out we actually explicitly say "Jailbreak tools that aren't the original links (unless the original links are dead)". So I think in the spirit of the rule we should allow it. (I did personally replace all iPhone Dev Team links to go to my iphone-dev.com mirror anyway, of course, which also has a download mirror.) —kirb (talk) 06:51, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
