This folder contains various boot-critical files, such as the kernelcache, devicetree, Baseband (on devices with one), SEP, all the other coprocessor (FUD) firmwares, and, on NonUI or LLDiags Prototypes, the Diags image.
The files in this folder are symlinked to the same directories in the actual filesystem root.
