The Mixed Reality Coprocessor is a secondary processor on Apple Vision devices, for the purpose of low-latency passthrough video rendering. The first-generation coprocessor, R1, supports 12 millisecond photon-to-photon latency.
The firmware is based on RTKit, making the coprocessors the most powerful Apple chips running RTKit instead of XNU.
