MeridianFix is a derivative of the Meridian jailbreak designed to eliminate Cydia and bootstrap issues.[1]

Changelog

fix1: 1 June 2023

EDIT: Do not use, go to MeridianFix v0.9-008 instead

This is a hacky modification to Meridian that should not have bootstrap issues, hopefully

Notes:

  • Attempt at your own risk, Cydia seems to have no issues though
  • This "fix" applies to initial installations only, jailbreak with the MeridianFix IPA below
  • After the initial jailbreak, you need to wait for up to a minute for Cydia to appear
  • If your device is already jailbroken with Meridian, SSH to your device, delete the folder /meridian at root, reboot, and re-jailbreak with MeridianFix
  • If Meridian already broke things for you, there is not much to do other than trying MeridianFix, and if that doesn't work, manually fixing the filesystem I guess
  • This "fix" is really just nothing but applying the updates from midnight repo to the IPA for them to be auto-installed, that's it lol

v0.9-008: 4 June 2023

A build of Meridian's substrate branch with an updated bootstrap. Attempt at your own risk.

  • Uses Cydia Substrate instead of Substitute for tweak injection and compatibility
  • Installs Zebra v1.1.36 instead of Cydia on initial installation

  • EDIT 2024-01-08: Updated MeridianFix IPA to have latest Zebra v1.1.36
  • EDIT 2024-01-19: Updated Meridian system-base to fix the issue where coreutils-bin and system-cmds need to be reinstalled
