TetherBootX32 was a semi-tethered jailbreak for the iPhone 5 using the checkm8 exploit. Specifically, it was a rejailbreaking tool that requires the device has already been jailbroken with H3lix. This was the first time a semi-tethered jailbreak could be performed using another iOS device.[1]
