The Apple Watch Series 9 was introduced by Apple CEO Tim Cook at Apple's 'Wonderlust' event on 12 September 2023.
Internally, the Apple Watch Series 9 is referred to as N207sAP (Watch7,1 - 41mm), N207bAP (Watch7,2 - 45mm), N208sAP (Watch7,3 - 41mm Cellular) or N208bAP (Watch7,4 - 45mm Cellular).
It was made available for preorder on 15 September 2023 and for purchase on 22 September 2023.
