Studio Display

From The Apple Wiki

Apple Studio Display is a 27″ desktop display announced on 8 March 2022 (2022-03-08) alongside Mac Studio. It is the first display released by Apple to run a full operating system on a high-performance application processor, including that it has the capability of receiving firmware updates from an attached Mac over USB-C.

Studio Display uses the T8030 chip (A13 Bionic) and runs an unnamed operating system. It's board configuration is J327AP and the internal name is AppleDisplay2,1.

The full operating system is used to take advantage of the existing image processing developed by Apple for other iOS-based devices for the 12MP ultra-wide camera, which supports Center Stage. It it also assumed to handle the triple microphone array, also taking advantage of existing software-based noise cancellation.
